Bangladesh’s 2026 primary scholarship examinations will run from 20 to 23 December, the Directorate of Primary Education announced in a timetable published on Saturday.

The examinations will be held from 10am to 12.30pm each day. Bangla is scheduled for 20 December, English for 21 December and primary mathematics for 22 December. Bangladesh and Global Studies, together with primary science, will be examined on 23 December.

Candidates with special needs will receive an additional 30 minutes, according to the notice signed by director of administration Mohammad Kamruzzaman.

The timetable follows decisions taken at the primary and mass education ministry’s national steering committee meeting on 23 September. It fixes four examination days, with two subjects grouped on the final day, rather than five separate examination dates.
