About Bengal Brief

Bengal Brief is an English and Bangla publication focused on helping readers understand Bangladesh and the wider world through concise, carefully sourced reporting.

What we cover

Our coverage spans Politics, Business, Health & Food, Corruption and World. We select stories for their public relevance and the strength of their evidence, rather than publishing to fill a quota.

How we work

We compare media coverage, check original documents where available, and write our own accounts with links to supporting sources. English and Bangla versions are prepared from the same verified facts.

We use AI tools to assist research, drafting, translation and illustration. Editorial responsibility remains with the publisher. Representative illustrations are labelled and should not be mistaken for photographs of an actual event.

Bengal Brief is led by Shakil, its editor and publisher.
