Biman Bangladesh Airlines resumed flights to Dammam on 21 October and announced a Dhaka departure for Riyadh at 1:25am Bangladesh time on 26 October, as services gradually recover from disruption at Saudi airports.
The airline said further Riyadh flights would depend on its assessment of the situation. The announced departure does not represent a return to a full regular timetable on that route.
Daily Dammam flights are scheduled to leave Dhaka at 8am through 26 October, using Boeing 777 aircraft. Biman also plans two Jeddah departures on 22 October, followed by one daily flight at 7:20pm from 23 to 25 October.
Services to Madinah have operated normally since 18 October using Boeing 787 aircraft, according to the airline.
Saudi airport restrictions have affected 134 flights involving Bangladesh and disrupted travel for 20,254 passengers, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh reported. The total includes 61 direct flights and 73 transit services across several airlines.
The changes follow attacks on Saudi airports earlier in October. Biman said it would announce further timetable revisions and directed passengers to its sales offices for booking and travel information.
