Dengue update: one death and 1,163 hospital admissions reported

Bangladesh reported one dengue-related death and 1,163 hospital admissions in the 24 hours ending at 8am on 2 October, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The update takes reported deaths this year to 250 and cumulative hospital admissions to 82,761. The latest death was recorded in Dhaka division.
