Dengue update: six deaths and 1,608 hospital admissions reported

Bangladesh recorded six dengue deaths and 1,608 hospital admissions in the latest 24-hour reporting period, according to the DGHS dashboard dated 3 October 2026 and BSS.

The official cumulative totals reached 256 deaths and 84,369 reported admissions this year. These are reported hospital figures, not an estimate of every infection in the community.
