NBR extends July–September VAT return deadline to 25 October

Businesses have until 25 October to submit VAT returns for July–September, the National Board of Revenue says. The extension from 15 October allows more time for changes to the electronic VAT system. Returns filed within the extended period will not attract interest or penalties for the delay.

The National Board of Revenue has extended the deadline for submitting value-added tax returns for July–September to 25 October.

The previous deadline was 15 October. The extension gives businesses another 10 days to complete the affected filings while changes are made to the electronic VAT system following amendments associated with the budget.

The NBR said taxpayers submitting the relevant returns within the extended period would not face interest or penalties for the delay.
