The National Citizen Party announced a restructured central convening committee on 23 October, retaining Nahid Islam as convener and Akhter Hossen as member secretary while changing several senior leadership roles.

Nasiruddin Patwary and Hasnat Abdullah became senior joint conveners. Sarjis Alam and Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain were named senior joint member secretaries. The new list contains 195 positions, alongside a 16-member Political Council.

The committee includes 24 joint conveners and six joint member secretaries. Responsibilities also cover divisional and overseas organisation, as well as policy areas such as employment, industry, the environment and training. Alauddin Mohammad was given responsibility for international affairs and SM Saif Mustafiz for the treasury.

A notice signed by office secretary Sadia Farzana Dina set out the changes. The party published the list on its verified Facebook page on Friday. Several previous positions, including chief coordinator and the northern and southern chief organiser roles, do not appear in the revised structure.

The NCP was formed in February 2025 following the July uprising. Friday’s announcement changes how its central organisation distributes responsibilities while leaving the party’s two principal leadership posts unchanged.
