Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammed Aminur Rashid said on 3 October that the government wanted agricultural products to become a larger part of Bangladesh’s exports, BSS reported.
Speaking at a technical education and innovation fair in Cumilla, he urged safer production methods and reduced pesticide use. He also visited student projects. His comments set out an ambition; the report did not announce a new export contract or target.
