Tuku calls for community policing and youth sports to tackle drugs

State Minister Sultan Salauddin Tuku called for community involvement in improving law and order and preventing drug use, Bangladesh Post reported on 3 October 2026.

He spoke after opening a community-police kabaddi championship at Tangail Police Lines. He highlighted sports and cultural activities for students and urged political activists to support enforcement rather than intervene on behalf of drug offenders.
