Primary and Mass Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon said on 3 October that the government would not accept poor-quality textbooks for 2027, according to BSS.
At a discussion in Dhaka, he said substandard books had been rejected and destroyed. He pledged timely distribution and scrutiny of paper, ink and printing quality. These were ministerial statements; the report did not provide an independent inspection of the books.
