Moyeen Khan urges faster public services and accountability

Local Government Minister Abdul Moyeen Khan called for elected representatives and officials to deliver public services quickly and remain accountable to citizens, BSS reported on 3 October 2026.

He addressed a Local Government Division review meeting on solar power, dengue prevention and development programmes at Samobay Bhaban in Dhaka. He said public service was a shared responsibility of officials and elected representatives.
