Bangladesh Bank outlines Tk62,000 crore incentive package in Rajshahi

Bangladesh Bank Governor Mostaqur Rahman outlined a Tk62,000 crore package of lower-interest lending at a meeting with Rajshahi business representatives, BSS reported on 3 October 2026. The meeting took place on Friday, 2 October.
He said the Udyog programme would support around 5,000 young entrepreneurs, with full implementation expected from November. Business representatives called for monitoring to ensure eligible entrepreneurs receive the loans.
