Finance minister highlights inflation pressure on households
At a Dhaka university event on 3 October, Amir Khosru identified investment, jobs and banking confidence as priorities.

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said on 3 October that inflation was squeezing household purchasing power, The Business Standard reported.
Speaking at United International University in Dhaka, he emphasised investment, employment, stronger revenue collection and restoring confidence in banks. He also warned that global borrowing costs and trade barriers were complicating economic policymaking.
